No. The B.S. in Management and Technology is an online undergraduate degree programme offered by IIT Jodhpur. Students learn through recorded lectures and live online faculty sessions. Optional campus immersion opportunities may also be offered at IIT Jodhpur, subject to programme guidelines.
The BS in Management and Technology program may include 3-5 day an annual campus immersion at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, subject to approval by the Program Directors. Additional fees apply, and general campus access is subject to institute guidelines.
No. Students who are currently studying in Class 12 and have not yet appeared for their board examinations are not eligible to apply.
Yes, admission to the BS in Management and Technology program includes a qualifier test. Final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in this assessment.

The Entrance Test is conducted online and consists of 60 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be completed in 120 minutes.
The test is divided into three sections:
- Logical Reasoning: 20 Questions (40 Minutes)
- Verbal Ability: 20 Questions (40 Minutes)
- Numerical Ability: 20 Questions (40 Minutes)
The assessment evaluates aptitude, analytical thinking, communication skills, and basic quantitative ability. The Numerical Ability section covers arithmetic, percentages, ratios, and related concepts; no advanced mathematics is required.
Negative marking is applicable. Candidates are advised to answer carefully and attempt questions only when reasonably confident of the correct answer.
Yes. Students may apply for a deferral after successfully completing the first year of the programme. Deferral is not permitted before joining or during the first year. Requests are subject to approval by the Programme Director.
A deferral is typically permitted for up to one year and can be availed only once during the programme. During the approved deferral period, a 50% academic fee is applicable.
The programme provides multiple exit options as per the approved academic structure. However, re-entry after opting for an exit is not permitted. Students wishing to temporarily pause their studies should instead apply for a deferral, subject to the Institute's approval.
The programme fee is ₹1,40,000 per year, payable over four years, making the total programme fee ₹5,60,000.

The Campus Immersion fee is expected to be approximately ₹6,000 per immersion. The final amount may vary depending on the duration, accommodation, and institute arrangements.

Yes. Students are eligible to apply to the Technology Innovation and Start-up Center (IITJ-TISC) at IIT Jodhpur. IITJ-TISC periodically invites applications for incubation, and selected applicants may receive mentorship, incubation support, and funding based on the Centre's evaluation and selection process.
Yes. The Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) is a student body at IIT Jodhpur. Students may participate in E-Cell events and activities whenever they are open to them.
Students are required to complete all programme requirements within 6 years from the date of enrolment. The B.S. degree will be awarded upon successful completion of all academic and programme requirements within this period.
No. JEE is not required for admission to the B.S. in Management and Technology. Eligible candidates are required to complete the programme's entrance/qualifier test as part of the admission process.
