Will students have access to IIT Jodhpur’s campus facilities?
The BS in Management and Technology program may include an optional 3-5-day annual campus immersion at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, subject to approval by the Program Directors. Additional fees apply, and general campus access is subject to institute guidelines.
What are the eligibility criteria for the BS in Management and Technology program?
- Class 12 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for reserved categories) from a recognised board.
- No age limit.
- Open to working professionals and students pursuing parallel degrees.
What is the total tuition for the program?
- The total annual fee is ₹1,40,000 (₹5,60,000 for 4 years).
- Additional charges include ₹999 (application + qualifier exam).
Can students currently studying in Class 12 apply?
No. Students who are currently studying in Class 12 and have not yet appeared for their board examinations are not eligible to apply.
Can I apply if my Class 12 results are awaited?
Yes. Candidates who have already appeared for their Class 12 (or equivalent) examinations and are awaiting results may apply provisionally. Admission will be confirmed only upon submission of the final marksheet with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks by the prescribed deadline in the first week of July 2026. Candidates who fail to secure the minimum required aggregate marks or do not submit their results by the prescribed deadline will have their candidature cancelled, and any fees paid will be non-refundable.
Is there an entrance exam for admission?
Yes, admission to the BS in Management and Technology program includes a qualifier test. Final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in this assessment.
Will I receive a physical degree from IIT Jodhpur?
Yes, upon successful completion of the BS in Management and Technology program, you will be awarded a hard copy of the degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur.
How is this program different?

Are there exit options in the program?
Yes. You can exit after each year with a recognised credential in Management and Technology:
- Certificate in Business Fundamentals (Year 1)
- Diploma in Management and Technology (Year 2)

- Bachelor of Science (Year 4)
Will I receive alumni status from IIT Jodhpur?
Yes. Upon successful completion of the BS in Management and Technology program, you will be eligible for alumni status, as per institute norms.
What is the Entrance Test pattern and syllabus?
The Entrance Test is conducted online and consists of 60 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be completed in 120 minutes.
The test is divided into three sections:
- Logical Reasoning: 20 Questions (40 Minutes)
- Verbal Ability: 20 Questions (40 Minutes)
- Numerical Ability: 20 Questions (40 Minutes)
The assessment evaluates aptitude, analytical thinking, communication skills, and basic quantitative ability. The Numerical Ability section covers arithmetic, percentages, ratios, and related concepts; no advanced mathematics is required.
Negative marking is applicable. Candidates are advised to answer carefully and attempt questions only when reasonably confident of the correct answer.
Can I defer my admission after joining the programme?
Yes. Students may apply for a deferral after successfully completing the first year of the programme. Deferral is not permitted before joining or during the first year. Requests are subject to approval by the Programme Director.
How long can I defer my studies, and are there any charges?
A deferral is typically permitted for up to one year and can be availed only once during the programme. During the approved deferral period, a 30% academic fee is applicable.
Does the programme allow multiple exits and re-entry?
The programme provides multiple exit options as per the approved academic structure. However, re-entry after opting for an exit is not permitted. Students wishing to temporarily pause their studies should instead apply for a deferral, subject to the Institute's approval.
What is the fee structure for the B.S. in Management and Technology – Off Campus programme?
The programme fee is ₹1,40,000 per year, payable over four years, making the total programme fee ₹5,60,000.
Additional charges (not included in the programme fee and payable directly to IIT Jodhpur):
- Campus Immersion Fee: Approximately ₹6,000 (subject to the duration and logistics of the immersion programme)
- Convocation Fee: ₹4,000 (one-time, payable at the time of graduation)

What is the weekly academic engagement for a student?
Across 6 courses, students have a total of 15 hours of academic contact every week.
Each semester consists of 6 courses. For every course, students receive:
- 2 recorded classes of 50 minutes each
- 1 interactive live session with the faculty of 50 minutes
